Plot
A documentary in which a woman recalls the persecution of the anti-rightist campaign.
Sinekatalog’s take
Wang Bing's three-hour documentary is a single static shot of a woman, He Fengming, recalling the anti-rightist campaign and her ordeal. Immobile and riveting, it is a monumental act of testimony and memory.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
