Sinekatalog’s take
Walter Salles's remake of the Japanese ghost story is a slow, damp mood piece about a mother's anxieties. Jennifer Connelly is excellent, though the film's scares are less sharp than its atmosphere.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
