Sinekatalog’s take

Carl Theodor Dreyer's chilling drama of witch hunts in 17th-century Denmark is stark and slow. Its austere compositions and moral dread make a stern, haunting meditation on fear and desire.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
