Sinekatalog’s take

G.W. Pabst's silent drama follows Louise Brooks's pharmacist's daughter through seduction, reformatory and brothel. Brooks is luminous, and the film's frank social critique makes a daring, tragic Weimar classic.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
