A romance involving a disturbed woman with a troubled past.
Sinekatalog’s take
Mani Ratnam's romance-thriller sets a doomed love against political violence in India. A.R. Rahman's songs, including the train-top dance, are spectacular, and the film is bold, tragic and visually striking.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
