Sinekatalog’s take

Karel Reisz's double-layered adaptation intercuts a Victorian love story with the film crew shooting it. Meryl Streep and Jeremy Irons are excellent in a clever, if cool, literary romance.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
