Sinekatalog’s take
Joseph Losey's film of Mozart's opera is shot in the Veneto's Palladian villas, with Ruggero Raimondi as the Don. Lush, dark and theatrical, with fine singing, it is a sumptuous, chilly and distinctive opera film.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
