Plot
A doctor in a slum treats a young yakuza with tuberculosis.
Sinekatalog’s take
Akira Kurosawa's postwar noir pairs a tough slum doctor with a tubercular gangster. Toshiro Mifune's electrifying breakout and the film's swampy setting make it a vivid, gritty classic.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
