Plot
Two teenagers from a village in Taipei.
Sinekatalog’s take
Hou Hsiao-hsien's gentle drama follows two village teenagers who move to Taipei for work and slowly drift apart. Lyrical and unhurried, with beautiful landscapes, it is a wistful, autobiographical-feeling coming-of-age film.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
