Sinekatalog’s take
Yasujiro Ozu's family drama pushes a young woman toward marriage and surprises with her choice. Setsuko Hara is luminous, and the film's quiet humour and gentle melancholy are Ozu at his finest.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
