Sinekatalog’s take
Yasujiro Ozu's quiet masterpiece follows a father and daughter facing marriage. Setsuko Hara is radiant, and the film's still camera and gentle sadness make a profoundly moving study of change.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
