Plot
A quality inspector for luxury hotels travels to Hong Kong and encounters desire in a new way, in a reimagining of the classic erotic film.
Sinekatalog’s take
Audrey Diwan's 2024 reimagining of the erotic classic follows a hotel inspector in Hong Kong exploring desire. Noémie Merlant is good, but the glossy, cool, muted film struggles to find passion or purpose, and critics were unkind.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
