Plot
Michael Moore's 2004 documentary examines the Bush administration's response to the September 11 attacks and the war in Iraq, drawing connections between the Bush family and the Saudi royal family, and showing the impact of the war on American soldiers and families. It was a polemical work that provoked controversy and became the highest-grossing documentary of its time, and won the Palme d'Or at Cannes.
Sinekatalog’s take
Michael Moore's documentary is a fiery, openly partisan attack on the Bush administration's response to 9/11. Sharp and provocative, it is better as polemic than neutral reporting, and it was a huge box-office hit.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
