Sinekatalog’s take
Robert Bresson's gentle Dostoevsky adaptation sets a young painter and a girl on Paris's Pont-Neuf over four nights. Light, lyrical and bittersweet, in colour, it is a tender, unusually romantic Bresson.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
