Sinekatalog’s take
Deepa Mehta's drama follows an Indian bride in Canada who faces abuse from her husband's family. Preity Zinta gives a de-glamorised, sincere performance in an uneven but sensitive film about migration, isolation and resilience.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
