Plot

A rich Texas landowner and his sons.

Sinekatalog’s take

Vincente Minnelli's Texas melodrama pits Robert Mitchum's domineering landowner against his sons in a family tragedy. Lush CinemaScope, big emotions and fine performances make a rich, tough Southern soap.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
