Plot
A family in the Hungarian aristocracy.
Sinekatalog’s take
Miklós Jancsó's long-take epic follows an aristocratic Hungarian family through the political and social turmoil of 1910s-20s. Operatic, choreographed and formally dazzling, it is a grand, dreamlike chronicle of class and history.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
