Sinekatalog’s take
Héctor Babenco's first major feature follows a bohemian in a Brazilian setting through fights and desire. Raw and early, it hints at his later strengths, though it is rougher and less confident than his best work.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
