Sinekatalog’s take
Joaquim Pedro de Andrade's drama follows a young priest in a decaying mining town who falls in love with a mysterious girl. Paulo José and Helena Ignez star in a stylised, poetic and bitter study of repression and desire.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
