Sinekatalog’s take

Nicholas Ray's courtroom drama has Humphrey Bogart defending a slum kid accused of murder. Earnest and sympathetic, with John Derek as the doomed youth, it is a sincere if preachy social-problem noir.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
