Four episodes of temptation across history.

Sinekatalog’s take

Carl Theodor Dreyer's silent epic traces Satan's temptation across four eras, from Christ to the Finnish Civil War. Ambitious and uneven, with Dreyer's early visual strength, it is a striking early portrait of good and evil.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
