The rise and fall of the controversial stand-up comedian Lenny Bruce, who was harassed by obscenity trials. Shot in black and white.
Sinekatalog’s take
Bob Fosse's black-and-white biopic of Lenny Bruce is raw and stylish. Dustin Hoffman gives a driven, fearless performance, and Valerie Perrine is excellent in a bitter portrait of free speech and self-destruction.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
