Plot

A serious country student and his charming, dissolute cousin share an apartment in Paris, with tragic consequences.

Sinekatalog’s take

Claude Chabrol's early New Wave drama pits a studious country cousin against a dazzling, idle one in Paris. Gérard Blain and Jean-Claude Brialy are superb in a dark, ironic and ultimately tragic study of class and envy.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
