Plot

A blind musician in a quest.

Sinekatalog’s take

Chen Kaige's fable follows a blind musician who spends his life playing to fulfil his master's promise of sight. Visually grand and mystical, with desert landscapes, it is a poetic, slow and affecting parable about faith and hope.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
