Sinekatalog’s take
Jacques Demy's debut is a luminous black-and-white romance in Nantes, where lives cross around a cabaret dancer. Light, musical and tender, with Anouk Aimée radiant, it is a delicate New Wave gem.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
