An 18-minute short based on a Heinrich Böll story, and their first work together.
Sinekatalog’s take
Straub and Huillet's 18-minute short, from Böll, shows an ex-Wehrmacht officer rising in postwar West German society. Stylised, severe and darkly funny, it is the first work of their uncompromising partnership.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
