Sinekatalog’s take
Luis García Berlanga's black comedy has a young man marrying into the hangman's family to get an apartment. Biting and hilarious, with Nino Manfredi superb, it is a landmark of Spanish satire on capital punishment.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
