Aristocrats debate at a Christmas dinner in the nineteenth century.

Sinekatalog’s take

Cristi Puiu's long period film gathers aristocrats at a Transylvanian Christmas dinner to debate war, morality and the Antichrist in several languages. Slow, intellectual and strange, it is a demanding, hypnotic costume puzzle.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
