Plot
On the eve of his marriage, Hachemi, a young Tunisian carpenter, and his friend Farfat relive the traumas of their childhood, when a man abused them. As their friends celebrate, and wedding preparations go on, the memories threaten their sense of themselves and their place in the community. Nouri Bouzid's 1986 film, one of the first in the Arab world to deal with sexual abuse, is a bold and moving drama.
