Sinekatalog’s take

Carl Theodor Dreyer's silent domestic comedy-drama shows a tyrannical husband taught a lesson when his wife is sent away. Warm, humane and sharply observed, with a single set, it is a gentle, funny and moving early gem.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
