Sinekatalog’s take

Lav Diaz's long film follows three Filipinos who take on new identities to cope with the political violence of the 1980s. Slow, black-and-white and deeply felt, it is a demanding, grieving and patient work of memory and trauma.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
