Plot
A divorced mother builds a restaurant business to give her ungrateful daughter a better life.
Sinekatalog’s take
Joan Crawford won an Oscar playing a mother who builds a restaurant empire for her ungrateful daughter. Michael Curtiz's melodrama wraps a murder story around the family drama, in noir shadows.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
