Plot
A couple in polygamy.
Sinekatalog’s take
Souleymane Cissé's drama portrays a polygamous marriage and its stresses, with a frank, unusual look at gender and tradition in Mali. Intimate and thoughtful, if modest, it adds a late chapter to his socially engaged work.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
