Plot
A woman's journey across Africa.
Sinekatalog’s take
Souleymane Cissé's epic follows a Black South African girl's journey across Africa, from apartheid to Mali and beyond. Visually grand and sweeping, with a strong sense of identity and exile, it is a ambitious, humane pan-African film.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
