Sinekatalog’s take

Juzo Itami's satire follows a hotel's staff as they learn to stand up to yakuza extortion, with a lawyer teaching them how. It is sharp, funny and brave, and its makers paid for it when members of a yakuza clan attacked the director days after release.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
