Sinekatalog’s take

Jerzy Skolimowski's tense drama follows Polish builders in London who learn of martial law at home. Jeremy Irons is superb as the foreman who hides the news, in a taut, allegorical and politically acute film.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
