Sinekatalog’s take
Gleb Panfilov's adaptation of Gorky's novel follows a mother radicalised by her son's revolutionary activity. Inna Churikova is superb in a stirring, humane and visually strong Russian drama.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
