Sinekatalog’s take

Alexander Sokurov's hushed, painterly film watches a dying mother and her devoted son in a distorted landscape. Slow, tender and visually extraordinary, it is a hypnotic meditation on love and mortality.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
