Sinekatalog’s take

Werner Herzog's slow, haunted remake of Murnau is a dreamlike gothic mood piece. Klaus Kinski's sad, sickly Count and the film's images of plague and decay are unforgettable.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
