Sinekatalog’s take

Alf Sjöberg's drama follows a farmhand's wife struggling through hardship and children in rural Sweden. Eva Dahlbeck is touching in a lyrical, social-minded film, set against an unforgiving landscape.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
