Sinekatalog’s take

Andrzej Wajda's lavish adaptation of Mickiewicz's national epic poem brings Polish feuds and romance to the screen. Sumptuous and patriotic, with beautiful landscapes, it is a grand, somewhat stately tribute to Polish identity.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
