Sinekatalog’s take

István Szabó's epic follows three generations of a Hungarian Jewish family through a century. Ralph Fiennes plays all three leads in a sweeping, handsome, if overlong, saga of assimilation and loss.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
