Plot

A film on the collectivisation of agriculture.

Sinekatalog’s take

Fridrikh Ermler's drama deals with the collectivisation of agriculture, showing class struggle in a Soviet village. Sincere and official in line, with skilful craft, it is a heavy but historically telling Stalinist-era film.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
