Plot
A samurai's death is told in four conflicting accounts, raising questions about truth and memory.
Sinekatalog’s take
Four people give conflicting accounts of one crime. Kurosawa's film made 'Rashomon effect' a term for unreliable truth, and its dappled forest photography and playful structure remain striking.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
