Plot
A year in the life of a domestic worker for a middle-class family in 1970s Mexico City.
Sinekatalog’s take
Alfonso Cuarón's black-and-white memory of 1970s Mexico City is intimate and sweeping. Yalitza Aparicio is moving as the housekeeper, and the film's long takes make everyday life feel monumental.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
