Sinekatalog’s take
Mira Nair's debut follows a ten-year-old boy surviving on Bombay's streets, played by real street children. Vivid, compassionate and unsentimental, it earned an Oscar nomination and remains a powerful portrait.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
