Sinekatalog’s take

Sarah Maldoror's drama follows an Angolan woman searching for her husband, a tractor driver arrested by Portuguese secret police in 1961. Quiet, lyrical and angry, it is a landmark of African cinema and anticolonial storytelling.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
