Sinekatalog’s take
Luchino Visconti's drama has a woman returning to her family's Tuscan home, haunted by secrets of the Holocaust and incest. Claudia Cardinale is striking in a heightened, Gothic and elegantly photographed tragedy.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
