Sinekatalog’s take
Med Hondo's epic recounts the Aznas queen Sarraounia, who resisted the French Voulet-Chanoine column in 1899 Niger. Grand and fierce, with a tale of colonial brutality and female leadership, it is a powerful, pan-African historical drama.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
