Plot

A thief is made to impersonate a dying warlord.

Sinekatalog’s take

Kurosawa's late epic has a thief double a dying warlord. Visually grand and meditative, with a stunning dream sequence and battle scenes, it is a study of power and identity.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
